In her more than 25 years in the bookselling business in Barbados, there isn’t much that Beverly Smith-Hinkson hasn’t done.
Through Datalore Inc., which she helms as executive director, she’s been involved in many facets of the industry, including online distribution, marketing services for regional authors, and operating a campus bookstore. Oxford University Press and DataLore Inc. Sign Agency Agreement
Oxford University Press and DataLore Inc. have signed an Agency Agreement. This agreement will see DataLore Inc promoting OUP, higher education and professional lists in Barbados. The agreement takes effect April 1st, 2013. Russell Clements has been appointed Sales Representative within the OUP Agency.

Book Source Continues To Raise Bar In Local Book Market
Through it’s division Book Source, Citrus Book and Poetry Night has become the premier event for authors and poets to showcase their talents in Barbados. Citrus Book and Poetry Night is held monthly at the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre in association with Limegrove Bar. International author Eric Jerome Dickey will be the featured author for Feb 2013.Eric’s latest novel Decadence is expected to be released in April 2013.

Company Relocates To New Headquarters
DataLore Inc relocated it’s corporate headquarters and customer service centre to Government Hill, St, Michael, Barbados on Jan 1st, 2012. The new headquarters will also provide space for a professional law bookshop.
